Vitamin B3 Niacinamide Serum improves dry skin. It increases the production of ceramides, the lipids in the outer layer of the epidermis that shield skin against moisture loss and protect it from bacteria and the environment. Ceramides, along with other lipids like cholesterol and fatty acids, form a protective barrier against water loss, so replacing ceramides lost through aging and the use of harsh cleansing products is replaced and helps to keep skin moist and supple.
Vitamin B3 Niacinamide Serum has anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it effective for treating acne. It may also be beneficial for treating other inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis and rosacea. Acne is a skin condition characterized by excess sebum production and irregular shedding of dead skin cells. The dead skin cells and sebum clog hair follicles causing inflammation. Niacinamide helps to reduce this inflammation Studies show that niacinamide serum can improve the symptoms of acne.
Vitamin B3 Niacinamide Serum isn’t just beneficial for younger skin burdened by acne, it also has benefits for more mature skin. There’s some evidence that it stimulates cells in the dermis to produce more collagen, a protein that supports skin and gives it its youthful firmness.
Vitamin B3 Niacinamide Serum is very effective effective to preventing moisture loss and dryness and forms a barrier against loss of water.
Vitamin B3 Niacinamide Serum helps to lighten areas of pigmentation and age spots. It also reduces blotchy spots and evens out skin tone while improving skin texture. From treating dry skin to wrinkles, pigmentation and acne breakouts, niacinamide offers a variety of skin benefits.
According to a study published in the International Journal of Toxicology, niacinamide is not toxic or carcinogenic even at very high levels. It also doesn’t sensitize the skin or cause irritation in most people. The Environmental Working Group classifies it as a low hazard cosmetic ingredient.
A team of Japanese dermatologists studied niacinamide’s effectiveness on 30 women who had wrinkles in the eye area. Subjects received a 4 percent niacinamide serum on one side of their face and a topical with no nutrients on the other. In 64 percent of test participants, wrinkles in the eye area were reduced. The study was published in a 2008 edition of the “Journal of Dermatology.
The basis for further evidence showing niacinamide as effective skin treatments comes from a series of studies conducted in 2005, where 50 women who showed signs of aging were treated with a niacinamide cream. The result indicated that the women treated with Vitamin B3 Niacinamide showed significantly more improvement in skin elasticity and appearance than women treated with a placebo. Studies also suggest that niacinamide skin serums can reduce the signs and symptoms of severe acne or rosacea by reducing the inflammation of the skin.
Studies of the benefits of niacinamide topical applications also suggest that this chemical compound may increase the effectiveness of sunscreen in protecting cells against free radicals. Further studies are being conducted to see whether Niacinamide can get rid of acne scars and other skin discolorations.
High Percentage Active Ingredients:
Vitamin B3 boosts the skin’s immune responses and targets pigmentation, and also provide a vital source of cellular energy, optimizing inter-cellular communication and skin barrier function.
Dipeptide Lipo Arginylm Tyrosine: A lipopeptide that is a switch messenger for gentleness, comfort and relaxation. Modulates the releasing of certain neurotransmitters thus stimulation of relaxation messengers and lessening of contraction messengers, ideal for skin calming.
Niacinamide is not only beneficial for more mature skin – studies show that it can be an effective treatment for acne and rosacea and one that’s well tolerated, even by sensitive skin.
Usage: Use after the toner and before the moisturizer.
Important Note – Do NOT use Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) at the same time as you would use Vitamin C. Use your Vitamin C serum at night and your vitamin B serum during the day. If these 2 vitamins are combined at the same time, it can form a derivative of hydrogen peroxide and the benefits of both the vitamins will be reduced to zero when applied at the same time.
